How much does it cost?
There are two options for purchasing ride passes:
Ride Pass including t-shirt
Pre-registration: April 1 – July 27 at 5 PM. Includes (Glow-in-the-dark T-shirt)
Riders age 18+ $30.00
Riders age 8-17 $20.00
Riders and 7 and under are FREE with a registered adult in an approved seat, tag-along or enclosed child bike trailer. RIDERS UNDER 7 DO NOT RECEIVE A T-SHIRT. T-shirts may be ordered separately for children. Please call 612-238-3930 ext. 2 to order additional t-shirts. All orders must be placed prior to July 27th at 5 PM.
Ride Pass without t-shirt
Riders may register for this ride pass option up until August 17th at 11:59 PM. REGISTERING FOR THIS OPTION DOES NOT INCLUDE A T-SHIRT.

How do I get a T-shirt?
By choosing the registration option that includes a t-shirt and by registering by July 27th at 5:00 pm. T-shirts may be ordered separately by calling the NightOwl Classic Office at 612-238-3930 ext. 2. T-shirts are $12 + $5 shipping and handling for up to two shirts. $1 each additional shirt. There will be a very limited number of shirts available at the ride and all shirts must be picked up prior to 7:00 PM or they will go up for sale after the ride.
When do I need to register?
Pre-registration begins March 1, 2012. You may pre-register up until 5 PM on July 27th if registering for the t-shirt option and up to 11:59 PM on August 17th if registering without the t-shirt option. Space is limited to 2000 riders per flight.
How do I get a T-shirt?
By registering for the t-shirt option prior to 5PM on July 27th or by purchasing a t-shirt by calling 612-238-3930 ext. 2 prior to July 27th at 5PM. There will be a limited number of shirts available at the ride. If riders do not pick up their shirts by 7:00 PM, they will go up for sale after the ride.
How can I register for the NightOwl Classic?
Registration is limited to 2,000 riders per flight. To get reduced early registration rates, register by 11:59 PM on August 17th. You can register online, or by calling 612-238-3930 ext. 2. By registering prior to 5PM on July 27th you will have the opportunity to register to receive a t-shirt. You may also register at the event beginning at 5:30 until 7:00 PM.
How will registration and check-in work on the day of the event?
There is no event packet to pick up. You will sign a waiver if you register online, or when you register the day of the ride. Those who registered by July 27th at 5:00 pm can pick up their NightOwl Classic T-Shirt upon checking in.
Does my registration fee include food?
Water and small snacks will be provided along the route, and refreshments at the finish, but supplies are limited, so it is not a bad idea to bring a snack and a water bottle just in case. Food and beverages will be available for sale at the NightOwl Start/Finish.
I signed up for the 14-mile route but I want to switch to the 21-mile route. Can I switch?
Yes, you can change your mind at any time and simply follow the course that you choose on the day of the event.
Is there an age minimum to participate in this event? If my child is under age 7 do they need to be registered?
Yes. The minimum age is 8 years. However, riders age 7 and under are free with a registered adult in an approved seat, tag-along or enclosed child bike trailer. However, everyone participating in the event needs to register and complete the required event waiver. This is for the safety and security of all participants. All participants ages 17 years younger must be accompanied on the ride by a registered adult participant. All participants 17 and under are required to have a participation consent form signed by a parent or guardian.
My wife/husband and I plan to ride a tandem bike. Do both of us need to register for the event?
Yes. The registration fee must be paid for each participant over age 7, regardless of the number of bikes used.
Is my registration fee tax deductible?
No, your registration fee is not tax deductible.
What is the refund policy for registration?
All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What if it rains?
The NightOwl Classic will take place rain or moonlight and all registration is non-refundable. The only exception would be in the case of severe weather, such as frequent lightning, strong winds, etc.
